Hadith Shareefs : Sayings of The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)

Hadith: The Messenger of Allah (prayers of Allah be upon him and his family) has said: "These hearts rust just as iron rusts; and indeed they are polished through the recitation of the Qur'an."
(Irshadul Qulub)  


Hadith: "Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 43, Number 622)


Hadith: The Prophet (Peace be upon Him) used to deliver his sermons while standing beside a trunk of a datepalm. When he had the pulpit made, he used it instead. The trunk started crying and the Prophet (Peace be upon Him) went to it, rubbing his hand over it (to stop its crying). (Sahih Bukhari)  


Hadith: When any group sits together to remember Allah Ta'ala, Angels surround them. Mercy covers them. Peace and contentment descends on them. Allah Ta'ala mentions these people amongst the angels that are close to him. (Muslim) 


Hadith:
 The one who really joins family ties (relations) is the one who when, his relatives breaks with him, he joins the relations. [Riyadus Salihin pg 155]


Hadith: A strong person is not the person who throws his adversaries (enemies) to the ground, but it is he who contains himself when angry. [Malik Mutawa Book 47]


Hadith: Exchange gifts amongst each other.  [Tirmizi 3110] 


Hadith: Jannat is under your mothers feet. [Musnade Shahaab]    


Hadith: Refrain from things which are haram, you will gain a great degree of piety. [Tirmizi: 2305] 


Hadith: Allah raises the status of those who forbear and forgive. [Muslim 6592]  


Hadith: Whenever you cook, add extra water so that you may offer your neighbors. [Muslim: 6689]  


Hadith: The Prophet peace be upon him has forbidden standing and drinking water [Ibne Maaja: 3424]  

Quran: If you are thankful then Allah will bestow you with many more of his gifts [Surah Ibrahim:7] 


The Prophet (peace be upon him) was of a height of above average, his eyelashes were long & thick, his eyes was large & black with a touch of brown. He was fair in complexion and so handsome that Abu Bakr composed this couplet: "As there is no darkness in the moonlit night so is Mustafa, the wellwisher, bright".    


Hadith: The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) never found any fault in food. If he wished, he would eat something, if not, he would leave it. (Bukhari) 


Hadith: One who recites durood once, Allah will shower him 10 blessings, forgive 10 sins and elevate him 10 ranks (Mishkat 922).


Quran: Whosoever has done bad of an atoms weight shall see it (on the day of judgement) [Surah Zilzal: 8]  


Hadith:
 For increase in memory, recite surah Alam Nasharah 17x before sleeping & blow on chest. Repeat in morning  but blow in glass of water and drink. [Fatawae Razawiyya by Ala Hazrat]


Hadith: The best amongst you is those, who when angry, tolerates it. (does not react) [Tabraani 5955] 


Hadith: Make use of miswaak regularly as it strengthens the eye sight. [Tabraani:7709] 


Hadith: For barakah (blessings) in the house, recite Surah Ikhlas once as soon as you enter. [Sa'adat al darain] 


Hadith: To remove an obstruction from the pathway is equal to giving charity (Sadqa) 
[Bukhari 2989]  


Hadith: The duaa of the following are never rejected:
A mother
A traveller
An oppressed person.
[Tirmizi sharif]


Hadith: “The one who recites the Qur’an and the one who listens to it have an equal share in the reward.” (Mustadrakul Wasa’il, Volume 1)


Hadith: The Messenger of Allah (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) has said: “The best of those amongst you is the one who learns the Qur’an and then teaches it to others.”
(Al-Amali of Shaykh at-Tusi, Volume 1)


Hadith: Imam Ja’far ibne Muhammad as-Sadiq (peace be upon him) has said that: “Reciting the Qur’an from the pages of the Qur’an (meaning to look at it and recite it) lightens the punishment of one’s mother and father, even if they are both disbelievers.”
(Usulul Kafi, Volume 2)


Hadith: The Messenger of Allah (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) has said: “Everything in existence prays for the forgiveness of the person who teaches the Qur’an - even the fish in the sea.” (Usulul Kafi, Volume 3)


Hadith:“These hearts rust just as iron rusts; and indeed they are polished through the recitation of the Qur’an.” (Irshadul Qulub)


Hadith: “Nothing is harder for Satan to bear than a person who recites the Qur’an by looking at the pages (of the Qur’an).” (Thawabul A’mal)


Hadith: “Brighten up your houses through the recitation of the Qur’an, and do not make them (your homes) like graves, 
(Usulul Kafi, Volume 2, )


Hadith: “Surely this Qur’an is the rope of Allah, and a manifest Light (nur), and a beneficial cure.  Therefore, busy yourselves with the recitation of it, for Allah - The Mighty and Glorious – grants the reward of ten good deeds to you for every letter which is recited.”
(Biharul Anwar, Volume 92)


Hadith: “One who listens to the Qur’an (while it is being recited) will be kept away from the evils of this world; and one who recites the Qur’an will be kept away from the trials of the hereafter.  And the person who listens to even one verse of the book of Allah - this is better (for him) than possessing a mansion of gold.” (Biharul Anwar, Volume 92)


Hadith: when a reciter of the Qur’an enters into Heaven, it will be said to him:  ‘Go up one level for every verse that you can recite.’  Thus, no one will be in a higher level than the one who has memorized the entire Qur’an.”  (Biharul Anwar, Volume 92,)


Hadith:
 “Surely the recitation of the Qur’an is an atonement for the sins, a covering (protection) from the Hell Fire, and a safety from the punishment.  Mercy will descend upon the reciter, the Angels will seek forgiveness for him, Heaven will long for that person, and his Master (Allah) will be pleased with him.” (Biharul Anwar, Volume 93,)


Hadith: “The people of the Qur’an (those who recite and those who memorize the Qur’an) will be in the highest level (in Heaven) from amongst all of the people with the exception of the Prophets and Messengers.  Thus, do not seek to degrade the people of the Qur’an, nor take away their rights, for surely they have been given a high rank by Allah.”
(Thawabul A’mal, Page 224)


Imam Muhammad ibne ‘Ali al-Baqir (peace be upon him) has said: “Surely the Book of Allah is the most truthful of all narrations, and the best of all stories, and Allah has said: (And when the Qur’an is being recited, then listen to it and remain silent so that perhaps mercy may be shown to you.)” [Suratul A’raf (7), Verse 204] - (Usulul Kafi, Volume 3)


Hadith: “Place a portion (of goodness) from the Qur’an in your homes, for surely ease will come to the people of that house in which the Qur’an is read, goodness will increase, and the inhabitants (of that house) will be given excess bounties.”
(Wasa’ilush Shi’a, Volume 4)


Hadith: Imam Ja’far ibne Muhammad as-Sadiq (peace be upon him) has said: “One who protects the Qur’an and acts upon it as well, will be with the noble, devoted Angels on the Day of Judgement.” (Usulul Kafi, Volume 2)


Hadith: Imam Ja’far ibne Muhammad as-Sadiq (peace be upon him) has said: “Surely the Qur’an is not to be read in a rush or very quickly.  Rather, it should be recited in slow, measured portions. (Usulul Kafi, Volume 3)


Hadith: Imam Ja’far ibne Muhammad as-Sadiq (peace be upon him) has said: “I would like to see a Qur’an in every house so that through this, Allah would repel the Satan (from that house.)”
(Fadhhlul Qur’an)


Hadith:

Hadith: "O people! Spread the Salam (greetings), feed (the poor and needy), behave kindly to your blood relations, offer prayer when others are asleep, and (thus) enter Paradise in peace."
(Tirmidhi, Ibn Maja)


Hadith: Shall I not inform you about the inmates of Hell? It is every violent, impertinent and proud person.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)


Hadith: "Do not consider any act of kindness insignificant, even meeting your brother with a cheerful face."(Muslim). 


Hadith: "It is better for a man to give a dirham as Sadqa during his lifetime than to give a hundred at the time of his death." (Abu Dawud). 


Hadith: "A time will come to mankind when man will not care whether what he gets comes from a lawful or an unlawful source."(Bukhari) 


Hadith: "Whoever guards the five Salaat while believing that the Salaat is the Right of Allah, will enter Jannat."(Ahmad)


Hadith: The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon Him) said: "Salah (namaz) is the key to Jannat." (Darami) 


Hadith: The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon Him) said: "He who remembers his Lord and he who does not are like the living and dead." (Bukhari, Muslim) 


Hadith:  "The one who would have the worst position in God's sight on the Day of Resurrection would be a learned man who did not profit from his learning." (Darimi) 


Hadith: The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon Him) said: "The search of knowledge is an obligation laid on every Muslim." (Ibn Majah, Baihaqi) 


Hadith:
 The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon Him) said: "He who goes out in search of knowledge is in God's path till he returns." (Tirmidhi, Darimi) 


Hadith: "If anyone pursues a path in search of knowledge God will thereby make easy for him a path to paradise." (Muslim).


Hadith: What is Faith? When your good deed pleases you and your evil deed grieves you, you are a believer.(Ahmad). 


Hadith: 
“The strong man is not one who is good at wrestling,But the strong man is one who controls himself in a fit of rage.”(Al-Bukhâri and Muslim) 


Hadith: The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) never found any fault in food. If he wished, he would eat something, if not, he would leave it. 


Hadith:
  “He who is deprived of kindness and gentleness is, in fact, deprived of all good.”(Muslim) 


Hadith:  The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) stated that: “I have been sent as the Opener of the doors of Mercy and I have been sent as the seal of Prophethood.” (Baihaqi) 


Hadith: "Any person who takes a piece of land unjustly will sink down the seven earths on the Day of Resurrection."(Sahih Bukhari:Volume 4, Book 54) 


Hadith:
 Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon Him) was the handsomest of all the people, and had the best appearance. He was neither very tall nor short.

Hadith: The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) had hair which reached the lobes of his ears. (Abu Dawood: Book 28, Number 4172) 

Hadith:  The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) used to accept gifts and used to give something in return.(Bukhari:Volume 3)   

Hadith: "Prayer in congregation is better than the prayer of a man by himself by twenty-seven degrees." (Malik's Muwatta: Book 8)


Hadith: "A faithful believer to a faithful is like the bricks of a wall, enforcing each other."(Sahih Bukhari) 


Hadith: "A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue and hands." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 2, Number 9) 


Hadith: "Allah has ninety-nine Names, one-hundred less one; and he who memorized them all by heart will enter Paradise."-Bukhari:Vlm 9,Bk 93


Hadith: "The one who visits the sick is in fact like one who is in the fruit garden of Paradise so long as he does not return."-Muslim:Bk 32,No.6227 


Hadith: "Verily Allah does not look to your faces and your wealth but He looks to your heart and to your deeds."(Sahih Muslim: Book 32, Number 6221) 


Hadith: "The finest act of goodness is that a person should treat kindly the loved ones of his father." (Sahih Muslim: Book 32, Number 6193) 


Hadith: 1/2-A person said,"Allah's Messenger, who amongst the people is most deserving of my good treatment? He said: Your mother, again your mother, again your mother, then your father, then your nearest relatives according to the order (of nearness)."(Muslim:32:6181) 


Hadith: "It never happened that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) was asked for anything and he said: No." (Sahih Muslim: Book 30, Number 5726)


La hawla wa la Quwwata illa billahil Aliyyil adheem is from the Treasures of paradise. It's cure for many probs/diseases. 

"Remember Allah so excessively that people call you insane" Hadith narrated by Sayyiduna Ma'az ibn Jabal.  

Whosoever recites SALLALLHO ALA SAYYIDINA MUHAMMADIN SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WASALLAM once, then 70 doors of mercy will open for him.


Durood: ALLAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA SAYYIDINA MUHAMMADI NIN NABIYIL UMMIYIL HABIBIL 'AALIL QADRIL ADHEEMIL JAAH WA 'ALA ALIHI WA SAHBIHI WA SALLIM. Read thurs night and on friday. You will be blessed to see the Prophet peace be upon him when you will be leaving this world.


Durood:
 ALLAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA SAYYIDINA MUHAMMADI NIN NABIYIL UMMIYIL HABIBIL 'AALIL QADRIL ADHEEMIL JAAH WA 'ALA ALIHI WA SAHBIHI WA SALLIM. Read Thurs night and on Friday. You will be blessed to see the Prophet peace be upon him when you leave this world.
